Overview
Roth&Co is a fast-growing mid-sized CPA firm seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to support the Head of Tax Practice. This full-time role combines executive-level administrative support, departmental coordination, and accounts receivable management in a fast-paced professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted administrative partner to the Tax Department Lead, anticipating needs and managing workflow
- Coordinate complex calendars, meetings, travel, and professional (and personal) scheduling
- Manage client communications, calls, and Zoom/Teams meetings, including scheduling and setup
- Review incoming emails, prioritize action items, and ensure timely follow-up
- Support department operations, including tracking metrics, workload, and key deadlines
- Coordinate meeting logistics, agendas, materials, and follow-up tracking
- Manage accounts receivable for partner clients, including reviewing aging reports and following up on outstanding invoices
- Facilitate timely collections and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Support proposals, engagement letters, client onboarding, and special projects
- Maintain internal tracking systems and support ongoing departmental organization
Requirements
- 2+ years of administrative experience in a fast-paced professional environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with financial systems or CRM tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Professional judgment, discretion, and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently while supporting senior leadership
- Adaptability and comfort managing shifting priorities
- Proactive mindset with strong follow-through and accountability
