Administrative Assistant
Location: Gelbsteins Bakery, Lakewood, NJ
Gelbsteins Bakery is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly
- Process customer orders and enter data accurately into company systems
- Coordinate with production and delivery departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
- Manage schedules, appointments, and administrative calendars
- Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents
- Assist with inventory tracking and order management
- Provide support for customer inquiries and issue resolution
- Perform general office and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude
- Prior administrative or office experience preferred
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
