Administrative Assistant

Location: Gelbsteins Bakery, Lakewood, NJ

Gelbsteins Bakery is seeking a highly organized and dependable Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails professionally and promptly
  • Process customer orders and enter data accurately into company systems
  • Coordinate with production and delivery departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and administrative calendars
  • Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and other business documents
  • Assist with inventory tracking and order management
  • Provide support for customer inquiries and issue resolution
  • Perform general office and administrative duties as needed


Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Prior administrative or office experience preferred


Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
