Sutton Alliance, a NY-based national title insurance agency, is looking to fill 2 positions in its recording department. We are seeking individuals with NYS and/or national recording experience.
Duties
- Review, submit and track legal documents for recording with county clerks and city registers offices
- Calculate and review all State, County and Local transfer and mortgage taxes, as well as recording fees
- Create electronic cover sheets and prepare tax forms as necessary
- Contact County offices to determine recording procedures as necessary
Experience
- 3-5 years of recording experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency of basic computer skills required
This is a full-time job which is either in-person or hybrid. Office location is in Valley Stream, NY.
