Overview

A large, reputable heimish company in NYC is seeking to hire a seasoned Buyer. We are looking for an experienced individual to immediately assume a buying role, with a preference for candidates who have experience in our industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing activities and ensure timely procurement of goods.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Oversee inventory management and stock levels.
• Collaborate with various departments to fulfill purchasing needs.

Head Buyer Role

We are also in search of a Head Buyer who will oversee a team of buyers. This role requires hands-on experience in negotiations, escalations, and management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Buyer in a corporate setting.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier management.
• Ability to manage a team effectively.
• Industry-specific experience is preferred.
