Company Overview

Well-established multifamily property management company based in Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a large residential portfolio across Essex County.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of 1,500+ residential units across 40 buildings
• Supervise and manage on-site staff, superintendents, and vendors
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and housing regulations
• Manage budgets, rent collections, expenses, and financial reporting
• Handle resident relations, escalations, and lease enforcement
• Coordinate maintenance, capital improvements, and inspections
• Work closely with ownership on operational strategy and performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of multifamily property management experience
• Proven experience managing large portfolios (500+ units preferred)
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Solid understanding of New Jersey landlord-tenant laws
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and operational oversight
• Ability to manage multiple properties efficiently and professionally

Salary

Salary range 125000 - 150000+ depending on experience. Please note, you must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time property management to be considered for the role.
