Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salesman to join our team in the Doors Industry. The

ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, specifically selling to distributors, lumber yards, and

door suppliers. This role focuses on expanding our customer base and driving sales in the doors and related

products sector.


Responsibilities:

• Prospect and generate new business leads within the door industry, particularly targeting distributors,

lumber yards, and door suppliers.

• Build and maintain relationships with key distribution partners to drive sales growth.

• Understand the needs of distributors and provide tailored product solutions to meet those needs.

• Offer product presentations and demonstrations to distributors, contractors, and business customers.

• Negotiate contracts, manage orders, and close deals.

• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

• Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings to expand reach.

• Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.


Qualifications:

• Proven sales experience in the doors, building materials, or construction industry (3-5 years preferred).

• Strong knowledge of doors, hardware, and related products.

• Experience selling to distributors, lumber yards, and door suppliers.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Willingness to travel within the MD, DE, NJ, NY, and PA regions.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

• A background in B2B sales or experience with distributors, contractors, and suppliers is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
