About the Role

We are seeking a driven Inside Account Manager to manage customer relationships and follow up on quotes for commercial doors, frames, and architectural hardware. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with contractors, builders, and project managers while helping convert quotes into orders.

The Inside Account Manager will play an important role in supporting the sales process by maintaining consistent communication with customers, tracking opportunities, and helping move projects from quotation to award.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with customers regarding recent quotes for doors, frames, and hardware products
• Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients
• Maintain consistent communication with customers via phone and email
• Help convert quotes into orders and identify additional sales opportunities
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while developing new opportunities
• Work closely with the estimating and sales team to support project bids
• Track sales activity and maintain accurate customer records
• Stay organized across multiple projects, quotes, and client relationships

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales or account management experience (any industry)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making follow-up calls and maintaining ongoing client contact
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities
• Experience in construction, building materials, or hardware sales is a plus but not required

Compensation Structure

• Base Salary: $75,000
• Performance Bonuses: Based on achieving sales and account growth goals
• On-Target Earnings: $130,000 – $180,000+
