Team Protect:
Looking for a National Coordinator: A national new initiative aimed at Bez”H preventing child tragedies, with an initial focus on hot car deaths and drownings, is seeking an experienced National Coordinator to lead our Partnerships and Volunteer divisions.
The successful candidate will spearhead the dissemination of prevention plans, practical tips and solutions, and innovative safety measures. They will be responsible for developing partnerships with mission-aligned and national organizations to help us catalyze the centralization of safety protocols, as well as coordinate grassroots volunteer efforts across communities.
In partnership with numerous organizations including many Hatzalah branches, Team Protect is a collective movement born from love, loss, and an unwavering commitment to our most vulnerable. Together, with G-d’s help, we’re creating a future where parents are aware of the multi-layered safety approaches that are needed in potentially dangerous situations.
1. Cutting-Edge Technology to Prevent Hot Car Deaths and Drownings: We’re distributing life-saving devices and working with manufacturers to implement sensor technology in vehicles and pools that will alert caregivers if a child is left behind or submerged in water.
2. Life-Saving Educational Campaigns: We are launching nationwide educational initiatives to empower parents and caregivers with safety practices, creating new habits and routines that protect children in everyday life.
3. Legislative Advocacy for Safer Communities: We’re working with lawmakers to mandate safety features in vehicles and pools, pushing for regulations that will save lives and create safer environments for children.
4. Building a Coalition for Child Safety: By partnering with organizations like Hatzalah and KidsAndCars.org, we’re uniting communities to work together on a unified approach to child safety, leveraging resources and standardizing best practices.
5. Compassionate Grief Support for Families and Communities: We’re developing a grief support network to help families who have suffered tragic losses, offering counseling, support groups, and resources for healing and community support.
