SINAI Schools-Special Education Assistant Director at YCQ
SINAI Schools is seeking a highly motivated Special Education Assistant Director for the 2025-2026 year to supervise the teaching of children with special needs, ranging from ages 6-14 for its campus at YCQ in Queens, NY.
Responsibilities
· Assess, develop curricula for multiple classes and age-groups (from ages 6-14) for students with special needs
· Supervise and provide constructive feedback to teachers
· Conduct behavioral planning and incident management
· Facilitate collaboration among team in order to maximize each student’s potential
· Lead professional development and growth opportunities for teachers
· Communicate regularly with parents
· Facilitate process of written student evaluations
Qualifications
· Master of Special Education
· 5 years teaching experience and/or supervisory experience within an educational setting (special education preferred)
The expected salary range is between $80,000-$100,000.
