YDE Boys Middle School is excited to announce several openings due to our expansion. We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to fill teaching and department head positions for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Positions are available in the following subjects:

Mathematics
English Language Arts (ELA)
History
Science
Safah (Hebrew Language)

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment where your ideas are valued, and you’ll contribute to the academic and personal growth of young students.

Positions Available:

Classroom Teachers: Passionate educators to teach and inspire middle school students in the subject area of their expertise.
Department Heads: Experienced leaders who will oversee their department, ensure curriculum alignment, and mentor other teachers within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with state and school curriculum standards.
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that fosters student growth and learning.
Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to develop and enhance instructional strategies.
For Department Heads: Manage departmental operations, curriculum development, teacher support, and professional development.
Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school leadership to ensure academic progress and address any concerns.
Participate in school-wide activities and committees, contributing to the overall success and culture of the school.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field a plus (Master’s degree preferred for Department Heads).
Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience in education (subject area-specific).
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
For Department Heads: Prior leadership or experience in mentoring other educators is highly desirable.
Fluency in Safah (Hebrew Language) is required for Safah teachers.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
