Two roles
SUMMARY Working as a member of the Mindoro Investment Team, the Head of Private Market Strategies will be involved in all aspects of private market investing, including pacing planning, research, sourcing, due diligence, execution, and monitoring. It is expected that this role will be based in Dallas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Oversee all elements of private investment strategies, including: private equity, private credit, venture capital, real assets, and co-investments, across all geographies and asset classes. ? Lead the pacing, sourcing, analysis, due diligence, and monitoring of private investment opportunities and allocations.
? Prepare, document, and present investment recommendations along with due diligence findings to internal committees and clients.
? Assist with investor relations and support fundraising efforts.
? Follow industry trends, develop research, and provide knowledge transfer to both internal team and clients.
? Assist with ad-hoc special projects.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Bachelor’s degree required
? Graduate degree (MBA/STEM) and/or CFA a plus
? 5+ years of professional experience in manager selection, private equity, investment banking, or consulting
? Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
? Exceptional critical thinking, quantitative and analytical skills
? Superior organization, decision-making and problem-solving skills
? Strong organizational and project management skills
? Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and work both independently and as a productive team member
? Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization
? High degree of integrity
? Dedicated work ethic and commitment to team success
