Job Description

The RN Educator will be responsible for implementing and teaching a 40-hour Home Health Aide (HHA) course and an Advanced Care Directives (ACD) course. This role involves delivering high-quality education, ensuring that students gain the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The RN Educator will also be responsible for evaluating student performance, maintaining educational standards, and staying current with industry best practices.

1.       Course Delivery:

o  Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning and engagement.

2.       Instruction and Training:

o  Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for students, ensuring that all course content is delivered effectively.

o  Demonstrate practical skills and techniques related to home health care and advanced care directives.

o  Facilitate hands-on practice and simulation exercises to reinforce learning.

3.       Student Evaluation and Support:

o  Assess student performance through tests, quizzes, practical evaluations, and assignments.

o  Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and knowledge.

o  Offer additional support and resources to students who may need extra help.

4.       Compliance and Standards:

o  Ensure that all training programs comply with state and federal regulations and industry standards.

o  Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in home health care practices, advanced care directives, and relevant legal requirements.

o  Implement best practices for student safety and confidentiality.

5.       Administrative Duties:

o  Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and course evaluations.

o  Prepare and submit reports as required by the institution or regulatory bodies.

o  Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new students.

6.       Professional Development:

o  Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with nursing education trends and practices.
