Job Title: Full-Time Occupational Therapist

Schedule: Full Time

Compensation: $40–$60/hour (commensurate with experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a school setting and a deep understanding of how occupational therapy supports the development and learning of children with language-based and sensory integration needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations using standardized assessments
Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain thorough documentation
Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and related service providers to support students in the classroom
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning
Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ sensory, motor, and functional development
Maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current NYS Occupational Therapy license and registration (required)
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Passion for working with children with language-based learning differences
