Kurrent Kitchen and Bath

Brooklyn based high end kitchen and bath showroom looking to hire a full time executive sales assistant for our growing decorative plumbing and hardware division. We are seeking an organized, energetic candidate with a love for interior design / decorating. This role will support the inside sales team with customer service and daily showroom activities.

This position will require working closely with designers and homeowners to turn their visions into reality. We are looking for someone that will provide amazing service to all of our customers, someone that will never say "no" to a customer and find a way to keep our reputation stellar and our customers happy. A very "can do" attitude is a must as well as a person that we can depend on in any circumstance to make any unforeseen issues disappear. 

You will get to be a part of Kurrent's team -- a friendly and exciting atmosphere with many exciting events and trade shows. You will get to know the top architects and designers in the industry and be a part of creating and designing some of the nicest and most expensive houses in Brooklyn and around the USA. 

Primary responsibilities include:

• Input sales orders
• Can-do attitude
• Strong customer service skills and professional telephone manner
• Ability to learn and effectively use the showroom software
• Someone who can give their all to their position every single day with no excuses
• Ability to problem solve and work in a fast paced environment 
• The ability to prioritize and work under pressure in order to meet deadlines
• Provide customer service to clients, and communicate effectively to minimize friction and resolve issues without delay
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills with the ability to handle multiple requests and changes
• Ownership, accountability and initiative
• Quick learner
• Design savvy
• Kitchen and bath plumbing and hardware knowledge is a plus
• Energetic, organized, motivated, reliable and dependable
• Someone who is driven to complete all tasks before the end of day and pull their weight in the business 

Requirements:

Years of experience: 1-2

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a sales or marketing environment performing administrative or executive support, or a customer service-related function
• Familiarity with Interior Design/Construction/Showroom industry a plus
