We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Financial Operations Analyst to join our team at Funding Futures. This role plays a crucial part in our daily financial operations, ensuring precise and timely processing of merchant transactions, overseeing account reconciliations, and providing support in collections and merchant services.

Responsibilities:

• Download and accurately record daily payments from merchants into our system.
• Assist in setting up and adjusting merchant debit schedules.
• Coordinate with merchants to update payment schedules in accordance with contract terms.
• Prepare and initiate wire transfers and ACH transactions as directed.
• Track all incoming and outgoing transfers, maintaining detailed transaction records.
• Update and maintain spreadsheets tracking merchant payments and bank transactions.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including bank account reconciliations and CRM entry verification.
• Reconcile CRM merchant deals with signed contracts and bank transactions.
• Assist with additional month-end close tasks as assigned.
• Prepare merchant files for legal review in default cases and manage UCC filings as required.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative or bookkeeping roles.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and other spreadsheet tools.
• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in commercial lending or merchant cash advance industry preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective internal and external interactions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
