We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
This position is responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by managing existing leads and cultivating new business opportunities. The successful candidate will divide their time between on-the-road client visits (50%) and office-based phone and email outreach (50%).
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of outside sales experience in the food industry is required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to manage time effectively and balance road and office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
Proactively seek out and engage with potential new clients to grow the customer base.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Prepare and deliver Sales or Demo presentations tailored to client needs.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities within the food industry.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and leads in the CRM system.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align on sales initiatives and client needs.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand brand presence.
